ANOTHER Surprise from a Customer!! DANG

You think you're getting a core and you open it and SURPRISE!!!  Now THAT was nice and was certainly not what I expected to see in the box   :o)

Another GREAT Review!!

I had a opportunity to meet a great lady, via telephone, some months ago because she was having problems with her wiper motor.  I found out that "George" (her car), a 1968 Sport Fury is her original car and her TRUE daily driver.  During the course of our conversations Helen advised that she has a sun visor full of people's names and phone numbers from where she drives around and people offer to buy her car and have over the years.  I got a HUGE kick out of that.

Anyway, she and her mechanic had thought perhaps the problem was in the switch and not the motor since they found another motor and put it on and got the same results.  Jim Slaugenhaupt, from JS Restorations, as a favor to me and to Helen, offered to take a look at her switch and he restored same for her.  Sadly, George is still experiencing problems with the wiper motor.  Jim and I were shooting the poop last week and we revisted Helen and George in our conversations and Jerry (my partner in life and crime LOL) built Helen a motor as a surprise.  Helen received her wiper motor yesterday and I woke up this morning to this great email and an ecard expressing her thanks for a motor that "mysteriously" showed up at her Knoxville TN post office yesterday:

Hi again Kim,
I emailed Jim this morning and told him of yours and Jerry’s great kindness and thoughtfulness!! LOL!! I also explained about the Tenn moisture problem…which I copied below for you:

“Hi Jim, Well, well, well…. I had no idea that Kim was working on a wiper motor for me! LOL! I got it in the mail yesterday! Soooooooo, when my mechanic gets back from vacation (in 3 weeks!!), he will be able to install the rebuilt motor. Hopefully the rebuilt motor and switch will fix everything up! Hallelujah!  (I told Kim I would send her one of my 2 wiper motors; I will probably keep my faulty original as a backup for awhile. The one I got from the junkyard looks a little ragged and only ran 10 minutes and then quit, so the elec man said months ago.) (Kim is right: Tenn weather, not unlike PA weather, can change from minute to minute, and I live within spittin’ distance of 3rd Creek so I get plenty of moisture on and in my car. I actually ride up/down across 3-4 ridges to get to work every morning. As an example, this morning, George’s windows were covered with moisture when I went out, so I wiped it all off. Before I could back out the driveway, the windows were covered again immediately. Then, ½ mile from home, the windows immediately cleared off all by themselves(on the outside). Then, another ¼ mile onward, all the windows immediately fogged over again, but by the time I had driven another ½ mile, they cleared again …all by themselves. This doesn’t always happen but does frequently. I think it is due to the warm air trapped in the little dips (valleys) with the cooler air on top of the ridges.  THANK GOD and Jim, I have my slow speed wipers again!
I don’t like not being able to see what is beside me in the 2-3 lane areas, especially near the I-640 interchange when folks are switching lanes frantically and exceeding the 45 mph speed limit. The 18-wheelers are also pulling on and across, as the exchange is right next to the ‘connector’ road that runs to the gasoline storage depots off Middlebrook.  Western Ave also connects closely to known druggie areas, or so I’ve heard. In addition to all that stuff, Western is now under construction for widening, so one has to miss all the orange/white barrels along the road side.
It has literally taken me over a year just to not bit my lip as I drive that route twice daily. (I used to drive it 4 x daily when Mom was in the nursing home(!))  I always drive thru that area with my left foot slightly on the brake petal, as there are also 4 shopping centers alongside that road area!  I see an auto wreck just about every week as there are many detours now.  And, of course, each morning as I leave home, I ask the Lord for a ‘clear and open road’ to work and to be my Shield and Buckler. HE is always faithful! And, I always claim Isaiah 54:17. (I’m not fearful, I just use my ‘daily bread.’)  When and if the Lord gives me my first million, guess I would think of buying a Hummer to ride thru that area! Are Hummers MoPars?)”
We had our church ladies Christmas luncheon last Saturday. I had an extra ticket which I gave to a new lady whose Dad is a preacher…I think she will be one also!?  Also, I managed to get a ‘free’ ticket for a homeless lady whom I got to sit beside. We prayed together for her lost relatives as well. Watch out! God is good!
THANK you and your husband again for your generosity and thoughtfulness!!!

Now THAT is about the best review a person can expect, not only in business, but in life!

I LOVE the ecard that she sent to Jerry and I also   :0)
