One of the BEST Reviews I've EVER Gotten
Hi Kim,
The motor came in the mail today, and WOW does it look good! I've seen a few resto jobs in my time but this one takes the cake. I can't believe the attention to detail. You are truly the best.
Now I know I'm not the first car-guy-gearhead to contact a business called "Passion4Mopars" and be totally blown away when a woman answers the phone and knows every detail about the subject at hand!
I'll be honest with you, I was a little apprehensive at first. But after talking with you and seeing the final product, I've come to one conclusion: You ARE a car-guy's dream girl. I'd propose except for two very minor details.... 3,000 mile relationships never work, and oh yeah, I'm pretty sure we're both married. Damn.
Take care, and hope to send you more work in the future.
Dave

One HOT Mopar Wiper Motor
Every now and then you send a motor out and the owner contacts you that he's having problems, I say send it back....this is the hottest motor I've EVER had returned to me
There's a Part 2 and Final Part of this one....this will be a total rebuild of the internals on this motor. When they "bind", please don't run them, look for smoke and WHY the switch didn't pop on this one I don't know, it never should've gotten this hot.
This shows the importance of having proper crank arm, etc. on a particular application. Binding will cause a motor to run but not turn and build some heat. Turn the KEY off, as long as the key is on, the blue wire is "Hot" so turning the wiper switch to the "off" position will not save the motor from damage.

Wikipedia's Definition of Muscle Car and Interesting Info
Sometimes it surprises me that something I think won't be interesting because it doesn't necessarily cover Mopars exclusively, keeps me spell bound and reading.
Wikipedia's history of muscle car and the definition and detail to the subject greatly surprised me...if you have a few minutes to spare, it's an interesting read. If you click the link above it should take you there

Paladin Special Order Wiper Motor
I had someone contact me and tell me that they wanted me to restore two of their motors. GREAT, I love a twofer...then he told me he wanted me to disassemble the motors, prep them for plating and return the parts to him so he could have them paladin coated...ok...I'm game. So that's what I did and I waited for the parts to be returned to build his motors.
Well I got the parts back a couple days ago, and while each of us learned alot in this process, like which pieces can and cannot easily be coated and "work", the whole experience was different and I actually like the look and the feel is FAR different than regular dichromate. A little harder to handle (you gotta remember I'm a woman and don't have the hand spread of most men so I struggle and do things differently than say Jerry does when he builds a motor, but you learn ways to handle things differently and get the same goal accomplished LOL) The last motor is not complete in that it doesn't have it's harness hold down or ground strap attached yet, the sealant was still drying when I took the photos, but that'll be buttoned up tomorrow and this motors will be on their way to their owner on Monday
Anyway I thought I'd post some photos of these motors for anyone else who might be considering something a little out of the norm.

Graveyard Carz RoadRunner Wiper motor
Not sure if you've seen the episode of Graveyard Carz with the Roadrunner finished and road testing, but we just got the wiper motor finished for the car and she's a beauty....so is the car
To view the episode of the Roadrunner, click the link below. Mark is one of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet and has as much of a passion for Mopars as we do!
The 71 Charger GYC is doing also has a wiper motor we've done...you'll see the cylinder being handed off in the episode where the best cuts seemed to have hit the cutting room floor LOL I'll post the link when I find it again, but I KNOW where the wiper motor photos are ;o)
